Mental Health Awareness Month

The beginning of this year has been a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings. As we have eased into the year, it hasn't been easy to try to get back to normalcy. We have all tried to remember to take breaks when we need, to listen to our bodies and rest when we need to. Sometimes it's hard for us to get into routines, especially the routines we've been wanting to. May has felt a little lighter and with Summer right around the corner it's important to check in with ourselves.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month (AND every day). This is the sign you've been waiting for to check in with yourself and check in with what is working and what isn't working for you. It's a reminder to slow down, rest, and most importantly be kind to your mind, body, and soul. It's a reminder to check in with those that you know can use a little extra love and check in.

Relax your shoulders, unclench your jaw, and take a deep breath!  Know that you are capable of what the universe is throwing your way, and similarly that you do NOT have to do everything at once.  But most importantly, know that I am here for you!

Prioritize your mental health through:

💤 🧖🏻‍♀️ Rest, Relaxation + Sleep

🤸🏻‍♀️Movement / Workout

🐶 🐈 Animals

🧘🏻‍♀️📖 Meditation, Journaling, Processing Emotions

🍉Healthy Nutrition

🌈☀️ Nature

🫶🏼Healthy Relationships + Boundaries

May is also Huntington’s Disease Awareness month + Remembering my mother, Laura Chann.

My mom was only 51 when she passed, but she brought so much love + light to everyone.

She always wanted everyone to remember to enjoy their life and to ‘just eat the F’in ice cream !’

Now more than ever, we need to remain connected to our community.

No one should feel alone, or without the help they need.

I am always sending your strength and positive vibes!

Much love,
Rosie
